Book 1
Seasons of Dawn
In the twilight of a fractured empire, where brass engines hum beneath skyships and ancient forests whisper secrets older than kings, one assassin returns from the shadows.
Köykkä, once leader of the Shadowed Guild and the feared Ghost of Keyr’dana, has walked the veil between life and death. Clad in blackened armor and armed with twin daggers forged in silence, he is a relic of a war-torn age—reborn into a world that has moved on without him. The Hall of Heroes Tavern lies in ruins, his allies scattered, his enemies ascendant. The city he once protected now teeters on the edge of arcane revolution and political collapse.
But the flames of the past have not yet died.
Summoned by whispers of a reborn Hall and the pull of a long-lost love, Köykkä journeys into the wild northern forests—where legends live and time flows strangely. There, among nomadic tribes and veilwalkers, he reunites with Korppi, a warrior-mystic who once held his heart. Now the Raven Queen of the North, Korppi commands a hidden people who guard secrets that could alter the fate of the kingdom… and reveal the truth behind Köykkä’s unnatural return.
Haunted by fragmented memories, hunted by powers who see him as both weapon and warning, Köykkä must gather his scattered companions, confront the darkness inside him, and decide what remains of the man he once was—if anything at all.
As war drums echo from the mountain passes and machines stir beneath the capital, a storm gathers over Keyr’dana. The veil between worlds thins.
And in the shadow of steel and sorcery, an assassin prepares to carve a new legend in blood.

Meet the Author
Ramsey Qaryouti
Ramsey Qaryouti was born in the Uppset Peninsula of Michigan when he first encountered the allure of tabletop roleplaying games. Over many years as a Dungeon Master and through his extended social life as a bartender he found himself drawn to the world of Renaissance Festivals where he had come to enjoy the company of newfound friends.
Realizing they never truly wanted to stop wearing their medieval garb, he then formed the Hall of Heroes in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A place where fellow nerds could hang out together in garb on a weekly basis.
From that starting point he began writing the story of the Hall of Heroes into weekly social media posts which inevitably grew into a passion for writing.
The above books are that outcome.
